3 cups, or one package organic, raw pecans

4 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp Grass-fed butter (does anyone else hate this name? It sounds like we are feeding our butte grass)

2 tsp vanilla flavoring

Flake sea salt, to taste

Preheat oven to 250. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp of the maple syrup, melted butter and vanilla. Add in pecans and toss until coated. Place pecans evenly on baking sheet, making sure they lay flat and aren't on top of each other. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and toss once before putting them back in for another 10 minutes. Remove from oven and put back in bowl. Pour remaining maple syrup on and re-spread on baking sheet. Sprinkle with flake salt, as much as desired and let cool completely. Enjoy!
